CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS FOR BUCKET MILKER WASH SYSTEMS

Set-Up And Cleaning Instructions For Bucket Milker Wash Unit

SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS:
Set up stainless steel sink. Mount Wash Unit securely to the wall above or near the wash sink. Wash unit should be near enough to vacuum source that rubber hose, included, will reach a vacuum stall cock.

THE WASHING PROCEDURE:
After Milking, the cluster and buckets must be washed immediately!!
1. To operate, place up to four claws in the wash sink. Remove rubber caps from the nipple on the Wash Unit and attach hoses from each claw to a nipple. Fill was sink with clear 100 degree F water for the first step of the cleaning process, which is rinsing the milk residue from claws. Turn vacuum on and water will be pulled through claws into the Was Unit. Water will fill the unit forcing the float to the top causing vacuum to realse, allowing water to drain back through the claws. This process will occur as long as the vacuum is on. Allow about 6 cycles to occur for rinsing stage. Turn off vacuum. Use the inflation brush and scrub the inside of each inflation

2. Drain rinse water and fill sink with 3 gallons of hot water(125 Degree F). Add one ounce of ACCENT powder detergent. Turn on vacuum supply and allow the hot wash water to cycle through the claws and Wash Unit for about 5 minutes. Turn off vacuum. Do not let wash water drop below 120 Degree F, or your claw unit will not clean properly. Use the same water in sink and clean your brushes Bucket and lid.

3. Drain sink thoroughly and fill sink with 3 gallons of hot water(125 degree F). Add 1 ounce of SEQUENCE A acid cleaner. Turn on vacuum supply Allow it to cycle for 2 minutes.

4. When finished washing, let water drain out of Wash Unit and claws. Leave rubber caps off until Wash Unit is completely dry. Rinse all brushes and hang to drip dry.
